    Sales Manager – Corporate & MICE

    Position Details

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with leadership to understand and implement sales strategies for assigned segments.
    • Assist in creating and executing aggressive sales programs to increase business.
    • Participate in developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan (revenue, customers, market).
    • Support the development and execution of internal and external promotions.
    • Provide leadership and set ambitious personal booking goals to drive revenue growth.
    • Recommend achievable booking goals for team members.
    • Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated sales efforts.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to secure future bookings (sales calls, events, trade shows).
    • Develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base.
    • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure smooth and accurate transfer of information to Event Management.
    • Assist with daily sales activities related to MICE segments (site inspections, presentations).
    • Conduct hotel inspections for clients and maintain excellent product knowledge.
    • Participate in sales calls alongside the team to acquire and close new business.
    • Oversee operational aspects of booked business (proposals, contracts, customer communication).
    • Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and economic factors to inform sales strategies.
    • Handle complex customer situations with high revenue potential and expectations.
    • Exemplify excellent customer service and set a positive example for guest relations.
    • Gather guest feedback on product quality, service levels, and overall satisfaction.
    • Implement company service and relationship strategies to drive customer loyalty.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related fields.
    • Minimum of 4 years in sales experience in luxury hotel sector with an understanding of key markets, strong network of appropriate social/business connections within the key markets that they will be operating.)
