Demand Planning Manager
Responsibilities:
America’s Demand Planning Strategy
Collaborate with the commercial team to develop final recommendations on Unconstrained Demand Plan for the market & develop that into a Supply Planning
Collaborate with global demand planning director to continuously improve forecast accuracy
Drive the adoption of best-practices and tools relating to demand planning in the America’s
Customer supply chain strategy and operations
Collaborate with America’s customer supply chain specialist to define and execute on customer supply chain strategy for the America’s aligned with BU strategy
Collaborate with America’s customer supply chain specialist to ensure smooth order to delivery operations to maximize service and optimize cost while in compliance with regulations
Make final decision on warehouse requirement, inventory strategy, and inbound/ outbound logistics planning and problem resolutions
Provide recommendation to Global DP & CSC team on order management system and transportation management (inc. 3PL)
Drive the adoption of best-practices and tools relating to customer supply chain in the America’s
Leadership team collaboration
Be an active member of the leadership team for the America’s and collaborate with other leadership team members to drive both short and long-term performance (incl. demand planning accuracy)
Contribute as part of leadership team to develop long-term strategic plan for [Region]
Collaborate with other leadership team members in [Region] to implement strategic priorities (incl. order prioritization for delivery, issue relating to inventory and delivery and to resolve any customer inquiry or complaint etc.)
Be an active member of the global leadership team of Global Demand Planning and Customer Supply Chain
Contribute as part of leadership team of Global DP & CSC to define and implement strategic plan and priorities (incl. services level, transportation management and planning, etc.)
Customer Service
Manage indirectly the America’s customer service team
Continuously track errors and report patterns for improvement opportunities
Coordinate customer support and manage complaints / inquiries as needed from key accounts
Involve cross-functional stakeholders as needed (e.g., S&OP, R&D) to ensure customer needs are met
Oversee process on simple artwork changes, ensure customer service coordinators are coordinating with QA and legal teams for artwork changes
Ensure smooth coordination with Branded teams on customer service support for joint accounts
People and leadership
Motivate, lead, and challenge team members to reach/ exceed business unit targets and objectives
Create culture to attract, develop and retain talent as well as drive employee satisfaction within the scope, in collaboration with HR
Coach team on daily activities; proactively identify high potential talents
Drive to improve career development paths & performance mgmt. to enhance team motivation and retain quality talent
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and competencies
Build longer term view/ plan around people, prepare succession plans at different levels
