Analyze (often ambiguous, unstructured) operational and business problems to identify areas for commercial growth, efficiency gains, and cost reduction
Use data analytics and business intelligence to uncover trends, drive decision-making, and identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with Country Directors, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to understand their needs and align operational strategies to support commercial goals
Develop and execute to completion complex improvement initiatives to realize commercial uplifts
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Product, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of improvement projects
Create and maintain documentation related to operational processes and improvements
Present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing clear and concise reports
Act as a versatile resource within our Agoda Flight team, establishing yourself as a trusted expert that all departments can depend on
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
5-7 years of experience in operational excellence, business analysis, or a similar role focused on commercial growth
Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and/or business intelligence tools, with a track record of using data to drive commercial outcomes
Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset, able to connect operational changes to business results
Ability to make sense of complex operational processes, internal technical processes and flows and connect the dot back to commercial impact
Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and present progresses, findings to stakeholders at all levels
Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with teams across the organization
Ability to learn fast and understand new business dynamics
