Market Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Work with primary and secondary research companies, market reports and talk to consultants to estimate the key market drivers and develop Strategy and Planning) for short, medium and long term. 
• Develop country Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) development plans for utility scale BESS projects and support development managers in country by secondary research and market intelligence including macro and micro factors, grid details, projected revenues and emerging opportunities on various networks.
• Develop business case and present with country teams at board level and support how the project fits into medium and long term strategy.
• Run the opportunities through the country teams and support the identified projects and help country team to develop and execute plan.
• Develop network with key stakeholders (Developers, Consultants and Financial Institutions) in the allocated region to substantiate the strategy.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration. Background in Engineering is a plus.
• Having 10 years of experience in business management with 2 years of direct experience in BESS, renewable market and strategy development. 
• Understanding of energy market, regulatory frameworks, revenue streams and cost structures for renewable energy and BESS.
• Analytical bend of mind to understand the bigger picture from micro activities and ability to work in fluid environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external parties
• Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (TOEIC score 700 and above)
