Foods THCL R&D and GA RDC CCA Lead

Main Accountabilities

• Lead Foods R&D team for THCL business, work with internal and external key stakeholders to establish and agree short, medium and long-term business targets
• Being lead and final decision maker for Foods THCL R&D team covering all CCA product ranges, ensuring all projects are on track as business plan with product superiority and boldly healthier drives, positive Fuel for growth, both for cost and operation effectiveness, regulatory compliance as well as product quality and food safety awareness.
• Partnering with Marketing team, champion Selling Stories and Unmissable Brand Superiority. Drive deep channel understanding and identify relevant growth opportunities building multi-year calendars.
• As CCA RDC Leader, accountable for developing, evaluation and scale-up CCA products including Bouillon/Cooking aids in all formats including paste, powder, granules and liquids, supporting the business across GA, ensuring no technical failure in the holistic view of formulation, D&H, related process/packaging impact.
• Ensure a continuing review (by annual plan) and evaluation of GA CCA new innovation and technology both potential mainstream and weak signals in market to the category by the development of personnel expertise, by encouraging the evaluation of new product ideas and technology from leveraging ecosystem connect.
• In collaboration with Regulatory Affairs and Internal/External advocacy, drive our value nutrition core’s consumer relevant messaging in our product ranges i.e. Positive Nutrition, and USNC to the public communication
• Prepares, recommends, and implements agreed Foods THCL and GA CCA RDC budgets, expenditures and forecasts to accomplish agreed team targets.
• Lead, mentor and develop talent in the team with growth mindset/learn to unlearn and agile way of working style

• Team of 5 member trained, technical professionals
• Reporting to Foods R&D Head of GA

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Food Science or related.
• A minimum of 15 yrs experience in an FMCG company R&D management role. Experience in food product development is preferred.
