Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities include:

• Sales Strategy: Liaising with global sales teams, clinic directors, and property sales teams to define and execute global sales strategies for targeted markets.
• Business Development: Identifying and attending international trade shows, sales trips and industry functions to actively promote Minor’s spa and wellness brands, and facilitate inspection visits for travel agents, tour operators, specialist agents and other key clients.
• Business Analysis: Tracking, reporting and continuous improvement of actual performance metrics of all sales initiatives, adjusting with the market needs and realizing areas of improvement in the sales strategy.
• Sales Reporting: Developing, executing, and reporting on monthly sales activity plan.
• Annual Budgeting: Working with corporate spa, property, and clinic teams on annual budgets to ensure proper pricing, segmentation, and resources for execution of sales strategies.
• New Product Development: Working closely with the Commercial Director to identify new trends and business opportunities and develop strategies to meet market demands, capturing new business, and driving new revenue.
• Brand Awareness: Building awareness of Minor’s spa and wellness brands and helping enhance and grow Minor Hotels position as a key player and market leader in the industry.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive sales experience on a global level.
• In-depth knowledge of the spa & wellness market, or similar prior experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in hospitality or related field
• Strong existing relationships with agencies and key decision-makers in the industry
• Ability to travel overseas (up to 50%)
• Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language (verbal and written)
