Main Duties & Responsibilities
Procurement Management
- Develop involvement with the ONYX hotel’s Procurement team when implementing procurement strategy, communicating results and targets.
- Provide support to the ONYX hotels’ Procurement team to enhance process effectiveness.
Supplier Management
- Assist the hotels in developing and maintaining an approved supplier list and supplier governance.
- Oversee tendering activity in the specification of requirements, requests for proposal, evaluation, and supplier qualification.
- Manage the supplier base and implement the ONYX corporate agreement.
- Control the standard of supplier qualification and their product/service for the ONYX hotels.
Policy Development
- Facilitate policy development, aligned with the ONYX Procurement Strategic Sourcing/ eProcurement, Hotels operation, Hotels Finance, and all Equity and Manage Hotels level.
- Ensure compliance of the spirit of the procurement policy, across the country through continuous monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
Project & CAPEX Management
- Manage implementation across the hotels that will utilize the ONYX certified standard approved eProcurement.
- Responsible to implement project planning, data collection, communication, and ongoing policy, process, and system development.
- Sourcing with cost analysis and focusing on OSE, FFE, Engineering, and all the ONYX Group ordering of all hospitality services requirements to align with the ONYX Standard, specification with budget controlling, contract awarded, and time delivery to meet all stakeholder needs.
Communication
- Align requirements and manage expectations and deliverables of the ONYX corporate office, Hotels operation, Hotels Finance, and all Equity and Manage hotels level, as well as external suppliers and business partnerships.
- Work closely with the property level, procurement, operation, and all concerned to understand new products, innovations, policies, and improvements.
- Assist with the development and distribution of the ONYX approved eProcurement technology communications relative to new content, system updates, system outages, and policy in alignment with the ONXY standard.
- Ensure involvement of the ONYX hotels procurement team when developing and implementing strategies and when implementing the ONXY contracts.
Process and Technology Development
- Participate in ongoing process and technology development, including procurement processes as relates to the platform, system-related administrative processes, development terms, and user-specific requirements.
Data Management and Reporting
- Manage data collection and ongoing reporting requirements, property level performance/compliance and financial benefit, procurement saving benefit, procurement contract opportunity identification, and other audience-specific reporting requirements.
- Drive accuracy of master data on procurement, suppliers, and contracts.
Support
- Support all the property level, Procurement Manager, Cost Controller of the hotels in achieving all team and corporate goals and objectives.
- Support all the property level, Procurement Operations, training, knowledge sharing and events relating to relevant information and knowledge.
- Develop and implement purchaser issue resolution protocols and standard communications.
- Follow up on the implementation of the ONYX contracts and performance.
- Provide help support and assist suppliers and users with all issues/questions relative to the use and functionality of the platform, including technical issues involving system speed and performance.
- Coordinate with the IT team of the procurement system to prepare, distribute and analyze help support.
