(Tech Interview Day) Network Engineer

Job Descriptions

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise core network infrastructure across Data Centers and Campus Networks.

• Regularly review and update firewall rules, enforce organizational security standards, and conduct bi-annual risk assessments to ensure compliance.

• Perform monthly vulnerability assessments, identify and address gaps, and implement effective remediation plans to enhance system security. Manage the entire lifecycle of network devices, including procurement, upgrades, and decommissioning. Maintain accurate Configuration

• Management Database (CMDB) entries and up-to-date network diagrams.

• Improve system efficiency through ongoing professional development and collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and experience with firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).

• Proficiency with network tools, including Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios, for troubleshooting and performance analysis.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and security.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE) are highly desirable.
