Senior Manager/Director of Freight Forwarding Business Process, Southeast Asia – Thailand (Bangkok)

Key Accountabilities

• Effectively managing the Freight Forwarding company acquired by the cluster.
• Identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Align acquired company’s business processes with the overall strategic goals and objectives of DP World.
• Work closely with Vice President of Freight Forwarding and Global Executive Vice President of Freight Forwarding and respective countries to ensure that process improvements support the company's long-term vision.
• Collaborate with different departments and teams (Operations and Commercial teams to understand their processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and implement technology solutions that support and enhance business processes.
• Ensure that technology is leveraged effectively to automate and optimize processes.
• Lead and facilitate change management initiatives related to process improvements.
• Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and ensure smooth transitions.
• Develop training programs for employees to ensure that they understand and follow optimized processes.
• Provide ongoing support and education to teams on new processes and tools.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes.
• Implement controls and measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Continuously monitor the performance of business processes and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Use feedback to make iterative improvements and adjustments to processes as needed.
• Ensure that business processes adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• Establish and enforce governance mechanisms to maintain process integrity.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of extensive experience in freight forwarding operations, including understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, documentation requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prior experience in managing the post-integration of acquired companies into the existing organization will be a bonus
• Strong project management skills to oversee the integration process, set timelines, allocate resources, and ensure successful execution within defined parameters.
• Proficiency in developing integration plans to align processes, systems, and operations between the acquiring company and the acquired company. This includes identifying synergies, streamlining operations, and optimizing resources.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Strong adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and timelines.
