Manage trade-related projects, process improvements, and regulatory compliance initiatives within the Trading Division.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade operations, minimize risks, and enhance the operational efficiency of projects.
Stay abreast of trade policies and regulations, and provide guidance and recommendations to inform business decisions.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between trade activities and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Responsibilities:
Provide guidance on regulatory product compliance matters, interpreting and applying relevant laws and regulations to business operations
Lead regulatory assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and developments, assessing their impact on business operations and advising senior management accordingly.
Assess gap analyses to ensure alignment with new or revised laws, regulations and industry standards actively leading strategy development and implementation in collaboration with stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly the Regulatory Affairs division, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate databases with updated records of product compliance activities and documentation.
Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Cultivate relationship with testing laboratories, certification bodies and local authorities.
Assess suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance, guaranteeing adherence to agreed service standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any fields, advanced degree or professional certifications such science, Supply chain are preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in trade operations, customs compliance, regulatory affairs & product compliance, or related fields within similar industry
Proven track record of leadership and success in driving compliance initiatives and managing complex regulatory challenges.
Effective leadership abilities, capable of motivating teams and achieving goals.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Good command in English
