Potato Receiving Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily chipstock and seed receiving and inspection, ensuring compliance with quality standards and minimizing cost and waste.

• Supervise operations at receiving stations, managing manpower and equipment to maintain efficiency and productivity.

• Coordinate the transport of chipstock to cool rooms, ensuring quality retention, minimal weight loss, and adherence to safety and timeline standards.

• Lead safety and security programs, ensuring a safe working environment and full compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with Agro Business and Procurement to manage receiving station contracts and vendor relationships.

• Review and ensure the accuracy of receiving and inspection reports, maintaining operational transparency and data integrity.

• Develop and coach team members to enhance capabilities, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or Agricultural Engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in agriculture.

• Strong command of English.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Experience in purchasing agricultural products and logistics.
