Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance and stability of applications and infrastructure, proactively responding to system issues and incidents.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance application scalability and reliability through sound coding practices and robust system design.

• Develop, maintain, and improve automation tools for efficient deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.

• Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and architectures, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.

• Assist in the development and refinement of SRE practices and procedures to ensure best practices in reliability and stability.

• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis, offering critical incident resolution and minimizing downtime.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our systems and practices.

• Monitor and manage the performance, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.

• Work with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP) to ensure optimal configuration and deployment of resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Solid understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices.

• Familiarity with cloud services (such as AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

• In-depth knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and networking concepts.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Good knowledge of AWS is highly preferable.

• Exposure to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
