Manager of Machine Learning

Responsibilities

• The specific responsibilities of the role of Manager in Machine Learning include:
• Leverage cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP), Anomaly Detection, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to optimize and streamline business processes and decision-making.
• Build, test and release services incorporating Anomaly Detection, NLP ML and AI models
• Stay up to date on the latest developments in the fast-moving NLP and ML space by reading papers and documentation for toolkits such as Tensorflow, Keras, AWS and others
• Write programs to cleanse and integrate data in an efficient and reusable manner
• Communicate with internal and external clients to understand and define business needs and appropriate modelling techniques to provide analytical solutions
• Evaluate modelling results and communicate the results to technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineer, or another quantitative field
• 3+ years of practical experience in developing NLP and machine learning models
• 3+ years coding in Python, R, JAVA or other programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) problems such as language modeling, language identification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, lemmatization, and summarization
• Experience with Anomaly Detection problems such as fraud detection, network intrusion detection, Manufacturing quality control, Website performance monitoring, Credit card transaction monitoring, System resource monitoring and system health monitoring.
• Experience with API test automations is a plus
• Basic understanding of Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases is a plus
• With a can-do attitude and be an active advocate for Quality and the Customer
• Experience with Big Data Ecosystem is a plus
