Senior Associate, Funding Management (Bank Guarantee)

About the job

1. Bank Guarantee (“BG”) Issuance and Return

• Work with BU to proceed end-to-end for BG issuance and BG Return upon proper documentation with signatures and information as required by banks;
• Work with Accounting and Treasury with respect to BG Fee payment to banks and accrual;
• Understand overall BG credit limit and work with banks to ensure smooth BG issuance;
• Work with banks and/or internal divisions in relation to BG outstanding and BG fee confirmation

2. Reporting and Ad-hocs:

• Coordinate with internal divisions, properly prepare, and submit information or document as required by financial institutions / banks from time to time
• Prepare a draft monthly or quarter report, and get the approval, before sending to financial institutions / banks
• Prepare monthly reports in relation to banking facilities
• Provide summary of and/or comments on key terms and conditions as per banking facility agreements, and, if needed, coordinate with inhouse legal or legal firm to derive legal opinions
• Other ad hoc as assigned

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Total experience of 3-5 years in banking, corporate finance, treasury, finance, investment banking, or any related fields with minimum 2 years of experience in banking
• Willingness and enthusiastic to learn
• Good communication skill
