SCBAM - Asset Allocation (Associate Director)

Description :

• Manage multi-asset portfolio for mutual funds, private funds and provident funds, in order to achieve superior return over the fund’s benchmarks as well as absolute return mandate.
• Analyze global macroeconomics and financial markets to develop asset allocation recommendation for clients to achieve optimal return for their investments.
• Generate the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) and the Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) for applicable mutual funds, private fund and provident fund clients.
• Participate in client’s pitching along with the marketing team in order to raise new investment mandates for the company.
• Attend regular client portfolio reviews in order to keep client up-to-date with the activities of portfolio, market condition, and outlook.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Economics, Finance or related fields
• Experience at least 5 years in investment management or related fields
• Strong analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative methods
• High computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
• Proficiency to code in VBA and Python will be considered more favorably
• Good command of written and spoken in English
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Passing CFA or CISA or possessing Fund Manager license will be an advantage
• Holding FM License
