Research & Development Executive (OnDemand)
Responsibilities:
Market Research & Insights – Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research to identify unmet market needs, emerging trends, and innovation opportunities.
Cross-Functional Project Leadership – Lead key R&D projects in partnership with Product Marketing, Academic, and Teaching teams to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
Product Innovation & Enhancement – Design and develop research programs to improve existing offerings and evaluate the potential of new products, processes, and services.
Technology Evaluation – Analyze and assess technologies used by competitors, suppliers, and industry leaders to identify innovation gaps and adopt best practices.
Project Planning & Prioritization – Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and priorities to ensure timely execution.
Technology Transfer – Manage the integration and implementation of new products, materials, or manufacturing processes both into and out of the organization.
Material & Process Development – Research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, and manufacturing processes that enhance product performance and scalability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Innovation, Product Development, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or business-driven innovation roles.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
Proven problem-solving ability with a strategic and analytical mindset.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional and multi-level teams.
Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, including stakeholder engagement and team coordination.
Proficiency in MS Office; additional data analysis tools or R&D platforms are a plus.
