Preventive Maintenance Technician (Contract)

Job Description

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks in guest rooms, ensuring all furniture, fixtures, and fittings are in excellent condition.
• Repair and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures throughout the resort.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become significant problems.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs.
• Assist with refurbishment projects and other carpentry-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
