Responsibilities
Oversee daily chipstock and seed receiving and inspection, ensuring compliance with quality standards and minimizing cost and waste.
Supervise operations at receiving stations, managing manpower and equipment to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate the transport of chipstock to cool rooms, ensuring quality retention, minimal weight loss, and adherence to safety and timeline standards.
Lead safety and security programs, ensuring a safe working environment and full compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with Agro Business and Procurement to manage receiving station contracts and vendor relationships.
Review and ensure the accuracy of receiving and inspection reports, maintaining operational transparency and data integrity.
Develop and coach team members to enhance capabilities, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or Agricultural Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in agriculture.
Strong command of English.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience in purchasing agricultural products and logistics.
