MP3 Buyer (Marketplace ease- Chinese speaker)

Responsibilities

Merchandise Planning

• Analyze consumer buying patterns and predict future trends based on e-commerce sales big data.
• Sourcing targeted assortment from existing and new suppliers based on wish list. Negotiate on supply price to get a competitive price.
• Review performance indicators (e.g. sales, discount levels, traffic, and conversion rate).
• Write reports and forecast sales levels on a weekly and monthly basis for owning categories.

Pricing and sales management

• Manage on product pricing to balance sales and margin.
• Own product P&L, responsible for margin.
• Participate in promotional activities and work with the store ops team to develop sales for merchandise.

Vendor Management

• Meet suppliers and negotiate
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
• Contact suppliers in order or schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.

Job Requirements

• At least 2-3 years relevant experience in brand or e-retailing industry.
• Experience in sales and stock management, strong result driving
• Price negotiation experience and capability in certain area, be familiar with industry cost
• Fluent in Chinese and English communication
• Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office- Sales Analysis and Forecasting- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
• Hold a bachelor degree
• Knowledge of internet and e-commerce would be a plus.
