[EAI] System Technical Lead for Automotive Steering

• Planning, estimating, and executing system development work to time, budget and quality targets.

• Plans and drives system development projects which support the Customer / platform roadmaps

• Selects and adopts appropriate systems development methods, tools and techniques.

• Lead systems team’s competency requirements

• Ensures that stakeholders are aware of required resources and that they are made available.

• Facilitates availability and optimum utilization of resources.

• Monitors and reports on the progress of development projects.

• Ensures projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, standards, methods and tools and addresses security and privacy requirements.

• Develops road maps to communicate future development activity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in development within the discipline (SYS, ME, E/E-HW or SW)

• Project management capability and experience

• Professional leadership of cross functional teams

• Customer focused product development

• Moderation capability/ negotiation capability

• Knowledge in product engineering processes, methods & toolboxes (e.g. certification of Leadership Focus Group)

• Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.

• Works with software engineering team (System/ functional architects, Technical Architects and Project managers) to meet the goals of the project or the engagement.

• Work in tandem with project manager to elicit technical and design considerations in overall planning

• Makes decisions which impact the success of architecture as per defined architecture principles and drive problem solving techniques

• Apply the knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations and actively maintains own knowledge and contributes to the development of others.

• Maintains an awareness of developing practices and their application and takes responsibility for driving own development.

• Rapidly absorbs new information and applies it effectively.

• Drives initiatives and shapes communities.
