You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Global Hyatt Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations.
The Director of Engineering is responsible to ensure the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.
Qualifications
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Engineering, or Assistant Director of Engineering in larger operation.
In-dept knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems commonly used in hotels and large facilities.
Good communication skills in English.
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate a team and foster a positive work environment.
