Department Manager - Domestic Expansion & Asset Development

Key Responsibility:

• Evaluate and define strategic approaches for large-format development initiatives on a national scale including longer term landbank opportunities

• Identify and develop innovative strategies within the area of responsibility to drive business growth

• Lead the comprehensive planning and development of new store locations, focusing on optimal store and mall sizing, to support the annual development pipeline

• Conduct detailed surveys and data collection to inform development planning

• Generate and analyze income forecasts for both B2C and B2B segments

• Craft comprehensive presentation packs for key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment

• Support on PR view for store refreshes and mall extensions, with a focus on maximizing sales uplift and minimizing operational disruption.

• Support mixed-use and redevelopment projects by providing strategic insights and necessary information such as non-retail development opportunities and strategic market updates on mixed-use trends

• Leverage Mall BIC data and site surveys to analyze market trends and provide recommendations for allocating mall space within new developments

• Deliver high-quality support on various ad-hoc projects as required, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualification:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Economic, Statistics or related fields

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in property development or related fields.

• Be able to lead projects and tracking timeline until the end of the process

• Good analysis and presentation skills

• Interpersonal and communication within team and cross-functional skills.

• Good communication in English

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Well Handle pressure and multi-tasking

• Statistic skill will be an advantage

• Enthusiastic to learn new things and ability to handle multi-tasks

• Good geographic knowledge of Thailand (benefit)

• Can travelling to upcountry and stay overnight alone
