    Accounts Payable Accountant

    Position Details

    Responsibilities

    • Optimize the account payable, payment processes and drive process improvements within AP function.
    • Oversee PO and Non-PO invoices, accounts payable, and travel and expense functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with the company policies and procedures.
    • Accurately record financial transactions on Oracle to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date financial database.
    • Compile documentation required for payment execution in terms of vendor due dates.
    • Efficiently manage vendor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
    • Analyze accounts and transactions, reconciling discrepancies related to payments.
    • Investigate and report any discrepancies found during analysis, providing detailed information and recommendations for resolution.
    • Generate reports such as vendor account balances, aging reports, and reconciliation statements to validate the transactions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements.
    • Foster relationships with Operation team, suppliers and stakeholders.
    • Ensure the accuracy of payment, auditing and tax submission.
    • Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the finance management team.


    Requirements


    Minimum qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as a minimum

    • At least 1 year of experience with managing accounts payable processes. However, new graduate is also welcome.

    • Proven experience in financial analysis and transaction recording using Oracle

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software

    • Knowledge of accounting principles

    • Proficiency in manual works and reconciliations.

    • Basic in English with good communication skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
