Financial Planning and Analysis Intern (Power Business)

Responsibilities

• Market & Industry Research – Collect, summarize and present monthly intelligence on fuel prices, power-purchase tariffs, regulatory updates and capital-market activity.

• Peer Benchmarking Dashboard – Maintain (and improve) dashboard comparing BPP’s ROIC, leverage, DSCR, carbon intensity and growth pipeline with peer companies.

• Economic Trend Monitoring – Track macro indicators (FX, rates, GDP, inflation) for our core geographies; highlight implications for project IRRs and funding costs.

• Portfolio-Management Analytics – Assist in scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for asset re-balancing, divestment candidates and new-build options.

• Presentation Support – Turn research findings into concise executive briefs and slides for key meetings.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3rd–4th year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering-with-Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• Solid skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools.

• Familiarity with Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ or similar market-data platforms is a strong plus.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights clearly in English (both written and spoken).

• Passion for the energy sector and corporate finance.
