Manager, Data Engineering & BI Developer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of BI dashboards and reporting systems to support cross-departmental decision-making.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, actionable data visualizations using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI.

• Collaborate with business units to define KPIs and ensure reporting aligns with organizational goals.

• Champion a data-driven culture by democratizing access to high-quality insights.

• Manage the integration of digital data sources and build custom or native connectors to platforms including: Facebook Ads, Google Ads / Google Analytics, TikTok Ads, Google Sheets and other internal/external platforms

• Ensure data ingestion pipelines are secure, scalable, and optimized for automated refreshes.

• Design and implement automation solutions to eliminate manual data processes using Python, Google Apps Script, and orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).

• Apply strong understanding of data modeling and architecture to maintain a clean, efficient, and scalable data infrastructure.

• Actively collaborate with regional and global BI/data teams to align on architecture, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in BI tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Google Apps Script is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with building and managing data connectors (via APIs or platform-native integrations).

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing data sources and performance metrics.

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and workflow orchestrators (e.g., Google Data Transfer Services, Apache Airflow).

• Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.

• Understanding of core machine learning concepts and data preparation best practices.

• Exposure to automating processes within the Google Workspace ecosystem (e.g., Google Sheets automation).
