Work with the product and design team on creating new user experiences and features
Create a scalable mobile architecture which will ensure that the organization is nimble as we grow the organization
Drive decisions on the strategies and methodologies used in mobile app development and testing at EarnIn
Create Unit and Automation (User Interface tests) Tests to make sure new code does not break existing features and the new code works according to requirements specified by product
Create and monitor analytics to prove how effective new and existing features are to helping customers
Lead the establishment and governance of engineering best practices, ensuring high standards for code quality and system reliability.
Proactively drive projects, providing clear direction and detailed problem-solving strategies.
Mentor the mobile engineering team, elevating skills and optimizing processes.
Design and execute comprehensive unit and UI automation tests to ensure new features perform as required without disrupting existing functionalities.
Analyze feature effectiveness using advanced analytics to demonstrate impact and inform future enhancements.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s (or higher, e.g., MS, or PhD) in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding or equivalent technical experience
Fluency in Kotlin programming language along with reactive and functional programming concepts
Experience with the various application architectures used in development of Android applications (MVVM, MVC, MVP, etc.)
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
7+ years of relevant industry related experience, particularly in mobile development.
Experience with Android development, backend development, or cross-platform frameworks such as Kotlin Multi-Platform is a strong advantage.
