JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Program Manager will facilitate and lead strategic initiatives for large multi-faceted projects which may be customer/division specific or company-wide. Provides management and guidance to multi-functional project teams and/or other Project or Program Managers. Manages and enhances customer relationships. Provides full accountability for project budgets, schedules, project management, and performance requirements for enterprise level projects.
LOCATION
This role can be remotely based anywhere in Asia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all project requirements and objectives are gathered, understood, and translated for execution.
Build and lead teams to achieve project goals for multiple and/or enterprise-level projects.
Collaborate with customers (internal/external) from requirements gathering through product acceptance.
Align program team to customer needs by setting milestones, goals, and objectives.
Review project schedules with functional managers and coordinators.
Provide guidance and motivation to project teams to achieve goals and corporate initiatives.
Serve as interface with customers, vendors, stakeholders, and sponsors.
Devise creative solutions to critical customer and user needs.
Manage project plans with focus on KPIs, scope, quality, time, and cost.
Monitor KPIs, summarize project information, and track milestones.
Coordinate integrated project plans, risk analysis, and mitigation actions.
Manage resources, time tracking, and financial analysis (CERs, travel, training, allocation).
Forecast budgets and labor needs for current and future requirements.
Remain accountable for overall project success (cost, schedule, quality, scope).
Report project status, issues, solutions, and evaluations.
Identify problem areas, propose alternative solutions, and streamline processes.
Provide stakeholders with performance status and corrective actions.
Share best practices across departments and Jabil facilities.
Drive continuous improvement through metrics and trend analysis.
Demonstrate strong customer service commitment and coach others in decision-making.
Design and facilitate training for enterprise initiatives.
Engage with customers to understand needs and ensure effective communication.
Work with communications and management to evaluate program effectiveness.
Comply with company security policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Requirements
Knowledge of Jabil operating policies and procedures.
Expert knowledge of Jabil’s culture and guiding principles.
Ability to navigate diverse cultures, divisions, and hierarchies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 12 years of experience in project management or related discipline.
PMP certification or equivalent.
Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
