Software Engineer - Squad Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of developers, keeping them motivated and focused.
• System Design: Work with architects and stakeholders to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Code Quality: Review code for quality and best practices. Implement unit testing.
• Agile Facilitation: Run Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Technical Coaching: Mentor team members to help them grow their skills.
• Collaboration: Partner with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver valuable features.
• Performance Monitoring: Use AWS CloudWatch and Elastic APM to monitor system performance and reliability.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflows.

Technical Skills:

• Backend Development: Strong in OOP and design patterns with proficiency in C#. Experience with Spring Boot is a plus.
• Database Performance: Skilled in monitoring and optimizing databases (MS SQL Server or Amazon RDS), including indexing and query optimization.
• Reporting & Analytics: Experience with Power BI or Tableau for building reports and dashboards.
• Cloud & DevOps: Proficient in AWS ECS, CloudWatch, and Elastic APM.
• Software Testing: Strong experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in software engineering, with 2-3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, particularly Scrum.
