SMT Process Engineer

Experience Level: Entry to 2 years

Role Summary:

This role involves developing and implementing manufacturing applications to support customer products. Responsibilities include creating application software and tooling for complex machines or mechanical processes, addressing process issues to improve throughput and quality, and supporting new equipment evaluation and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design and implement new manufacturing applications to enhance customer products.
• Process Improvement: Identify and resolve process problems affecting throughput or quality; stabilize processes through effective solutions.
• Equipment Support: Assist in evaluating new equipment, coordinating upgrades, and setting specifications and qualification tests, with supervision.

Physical Demands:

• Work is primarily office-based.
• Extended periods of sitting and visual concentration on screens or detailed data.
• Frequent repetitive manual tasks (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse).
