Senior Production Engineer

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply to the rules of Thailand Labor Code and internal rules of the Company
• Apply to the strategies, goals and directions of the Company
• Have a good knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the HSE Systems and apply to the rules and regulations set forth in these systems
• Support management decisions in the execution of the responsibilities of Production Engineering strategy
• In co-operation with the General Manager establish the strategy and goals for the efficient organization and operation of Engineering area
• Inform the General Manager on important issues related to the Production Engineering area
• Develop and maintain the professional routines and processes related to the Production Engineering area
• Ensure high quality in work processes and methodologies and establish a continuous process philosophy
• Actively support and execute the Company “QDC” philosophy with following priority:
• Q – Quality
• D – Delivery
• C – Cost
• Perform Production Engineering activities, including but not limited to:
• Direct support in regard technical aspects of production process (1st line production support).
• Implementation support for new machines and equipment for production line.
• Development and sourcing of production special tools.
• Ensure stable production flow.
• Solving production issues together with other production support departments
• Support throughout implementation of new products and parts in production.
• Managing technical documentation for production process machine park.
• Introduction of mitigation activities related to production process risk analysis.
• Ensure that the tools, machines and equipment are kept in good shape and operational at all times
• Ensure that the working area is clean and good looking
• Be an active team member and contribute positively to the accomplishment of the company’s strategies and plans
• Contribute to the efficient implementation of LEAN methodologies within the Production Engineering area
• The General Manager may also delegate other tasks fallen within the scope of employee’s job position and competencies, not explicitly written in this document.
• Have good knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with modern enterprise administration, lean production management and practice experience accumulation, thorough understanding mechanical processing and packaging equipment, able to handle and deal with the production emergency
• Can understand mechanical drawings
• Familiar with IOS9001/14001/SA8000 and management concept of TQM, TPM.
• Bachelor's Engineering Graduate degree.
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
• MS Office
