    Quality Control Manager

    Position Details

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Quality Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of tyres to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
    • Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to monitor tyre production and identify any deviations or defects. Take corrective actions as necessary to ensure product quality.
    • Testing and Analysis: Plan and coordinate product testing, including performance, durability, and safety evaluations. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues or non-conformities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
    • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to establish quality requirements, conduct audits, and address quality-related concerns in the supply chain.
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. Ensure compliance with documentation standards.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains to enhance overall product quality and manufacturing processes.
    • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal quality protocols.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to tyre quality and manufacturing.


    Success in the Position:

    Success as a Tyre Quality Manager will be demonstrated by:

    • Consistently delivering high-quality tyres that meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Proactively identifying and resolving quality issues, reducing defects, and improving overall product quality.
    • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Conducting comprehensive product testing and analysis to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
    • Assisting in the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns.
    • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness within the organization.


    How This Role Fits into the Organization:

    The Tyre Quality Manager will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance Department, reporting to the Head of Quality management. Working closely with R&D, and other teams, the Tyre Quality Manager will play a crucial role in upholding quality standards, optimizing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tyres to customers.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the tyre manufacturing industry.
    • Strong understanding of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and statistical methods.
    • Familiarity with tyre manufacturing processes and relevant industry standards.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers effectively.
