Performance Engineering Officer

• Perform payload analysis, calculate, and issue Take-off Performance Charts.
• Conduct aircraft performance monitoring, study airport and en-route procedures.
• Ensure that runway/obstacle data used for take-off and landing computations are correctly updated and valid.
• Ensure that necessary take-off and landing computations are updated and available on board the aircraft.
• Ensure that the flight planning system settings used by the flight dispatch are correctly configured.
• Coordinate with all related departments when Minimum Equipment List (MEL) items that may affect aircraft performance are raised.
• Follow up and update data for departure/arrival airports, alternates, and airport minima on VJC's route network to calculate landing and take-off limits for aircraft at currently operating main airports and alternates.
• Report any discrepancies in the performance data resulting from the EFB applications and PEP software to the EFB Program Manager.
• Test documentation packages before delivering them to the EFB Gateway Administrator to ensure they will function properly.
• Support the EFB Program Manager with training activities when requested.
• Assist the FOE Manager with Aircraft System and EFB Administration when requested.

Requirements

1. Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Aviation - Air Traffic Management, Aerospace Engineering are preferred.
2. Experience:
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
3. Language skills:
• Toeic with a minimum score of 300 or equivalent certificate (IELTS/TOEFL/...); or Bachelor's Degree in English.
4. Other requirements:
• Basic knowledge of engineering.
• Responsibility, self-disciplined, active in work.
• Ability to work under high pressure and work effectively in a team.
