Organize, direct, and coordinate the overall planning, and guidance of labor utilization, manufacturing budget, and machinery to ensure maximum output at the lowest cost consistent with desired quality, food safety standards, and employee safety.
Provide leadership direction and development of operations through cooperation and coordination with P&O, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial & logistics teams.
Develop planning of manpower and resource requirements.
Assist and support the employee development plan.
Take an active role as part of the site leadership team to build winning environments for the site as well as provide input to the overall corporate plan
Perform other jobs as assigned.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in engineering, science or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar operations management role within the manufacturing or production industry
Proven track record of leading successful continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiency
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
Proficient in data analysis and the use of relevant software tools to monitor and report on operational performance
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing lean practices
