Offshore Structural Designer / CAD Operator

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work under the supervision of Lead Structural Engineer on offshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design and EPC/ EPCM projects.
• Prepare drafting sketches for primary, secondary, tertiary steel, connections, and appurtenances; construction/ installation sequence for the Senior CAD/ CAD Operators.
• Perform drafting check and 2D drawings/ 3-D models prepared by the drafting team.
• Prepare/ generate material take-off, bill of material and cutting plan.
• Assist Lead Structural Engineer/ Lead Designer to perform vendor data review and vendor data incorporation.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of High Vocational Certificate/ Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience for Structural Designer
• Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical, Chemical and related industries. Experience should cover at least three (3) years
• Competent user of AutoCAD software application and good working knowledge of AutoCAD design procedures
• 3D modeling/ design software experience (E3D, PDMS, BOCAD, TEKLA) is an advantage.
