    Position Details

    Main Duties & Responsibilities


    ONYX Hospitality & Brand websites

    • Writing, editing and proof-reading content on a regular basis for building up hotels and brand websites
    • Maintain the accuracy, quality, and consistency of information on the websites, ensuring websites content is up to date and a totally on-brand and seamless experience
    • Continuously seek to improve content on brand.com via the use of the CMS, optimising copywriting, images, videos, 360 virtual tours, conversion widgets to ensure a seamless experience
    • Work with web designers and brand department team members to define, develop, and adhere to brand guidelines and content rules that provide a consistent voice, tone, and style of online content
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate identity, both visually and verbally on the B2B website of the organization
    • Own the relationship with 3rd party copywriters and ensure the creation and delivery of on brand copy in a timely manner
    • Manage translation vendors and ensure a cost-effective delivery of the translations. Liaise with hotels to get quotations approved and invoice paid in a timely manner. Ensure a smooth import of the work produced by vendors on brand.com
    • Ensure seamless communication between Marketing & Content, Digital, Distribution and Web Development team so offers, and promotions landing pages are loaded on time
    • Develops benchmarks vs. competitive Web sites with regard to content changes and possible enhancements
    • Conduct usability testing and manage enhancements on existing website using online tools such as GTmetrix, Google Core Web Vitals & Mobile-Friendly Test
    • Participate in the development and improvement of web template layouts and provide wireframes using Figma or Sketch
    • Oversee the critical path leading to the creation of websites for pre-opening hotels coordinating with other teams, departments and divisions.


    SEO

    • Balance creative, well-written content, headlines, webpage headings, meta-titles, meta-descriptions, picture ALT attributes, with SEO content to ensure optimal indexing and ranking of the organization websites on search engines
    • Conduct periodical audit of website content and technical SEO (speed, microdata markup, internal redirections, broken links) to ensure compliance with global search engines guidelines
    • Provide editorial support to other Marketing & Production team member as a quality control and brand representation function e.g. for ad text, copy on banners, advertorials, EDMs, partners landing pages etc.


    Relationship with Hotels

    • Provide support and guidance to hotel commercial teams to the use of the company web content management system and booking engine.
    • Train team members by self or recommend trainings to keep their skills up to date with job requirements and market.


    Job Specifications:

    • Strategic and results-driven marketing expert with 5+ years’ experience in Digital Content management and Website Marketing.
    • Very good level of written and spoken English
    • Strong commercial marketer with experience and good understanding of hospitality brands
    • Excellent knowledge of Content Management Platforms. Knowledge of Sitecore and WordPress would be an advantage.
    • Expertise in Asset Management & Travel/Hospitality tools desired
    • Analytical thinker with track record in mining complex data to drive business insight.
    • Strong relationship management skills, together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven team player with ability to positively influence colleagues to drive team results.
    • Highly organised with strong project leadership and management skills.
    • Degree-educated.
    • Computer literate.
    • Good health, mature and pleasant personality, and neat appearance.
