Serve as a thought partner for internal businesses by:
Interpreting business team's objectives and translating them into effective research design (including qualitative, quantitative, desk research, etc.)
Helping business teams develop precise hypothesis statements
Helping distill research into insights that drive/influence business decisions and strategies
Conduct market research studies (e.g., surveys, focus groups, field work, interviews, etc.) to understand trends/behaviors and competitive movements
Analyze LINE internal data to pull relevant user behaviors and insights
Work with strategy and HQ teams on data analysis and insights-based initiatives
Manage external research agencies to ensure smooth and successful project delivery aligned with internal teams’ expectations
Monitor progress and manage each research project to ensure that the project is finished on time and achieve the goals set
Conduct market monitoring/tracking research (quarterly/yearly) and/or ad-hoc secondary research assigned by management by gathering information on consumers, competitors and market conditions
Develop/launch/review/revise questionnaires and conduct analyses
Convert complex data and findings into comprehensive formats, such as tables and graphs
Summarize and share key findings, implications as well as recommendations to key stakeholders
Collaborate and communicate with service/business teams to standardize the workflow
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration or a related analytical field
4-5 years of work experience in consumer insights, market research, and analytics
Experience using/leveraging various research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) and ability to conduct statistical analysis and work with large data sets
Proficiency with SPSS, Amos, or other statistical tools (Additional proficiency with Tableau is a plus.)
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
Strong presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal
Strong project management skills coupled with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at the same time
Team player: Open-minded with a positive attitude and likes to work in an agile way
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
Native proficiency in Thai and professional proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)
