Ice Cream - Internal Logistics Coordinator

Position Details

Main Responsibilities


  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials and products. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Increase inventory accuracy and traceability by building a more robust receipt process for all packaging and raw ingredients.
  • Drive Unilever Manufacturing System: Be the lead for Customer Service & Agility to ensure the right level of service and consistently meet target services at highest efficiency
  • Lead goods movement: Coordinate the movement of goods between departments, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of materials. Work closely with production, warehouse, and procurement teams.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Verify shipment contents and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, inventory logs, and delivery schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving logistics processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal logistics inquiries. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to logistics and inventory management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to management.


Candidate Criteria


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good to have experience in warehouse management system/yard management
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Broad knowledge of Customer Service and logistic processes
  • Understanding of warehouse/store operations
