Head of Tax Operations

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with BUs team or relevant value chains to ensure the correctness of tax transaction aligned with financial control policy and procedure.
• Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, introducing control guidance to BUs as they develop new/change products or service or system to ensure of complete tax transaction
• Keep tracking and raise concern on events which might impact to the accuracy of financial statement or might have a high impact to Bank's P&L.
• Review and dissolve the defined root causes of financial risks/issues that may impact to the reliable financial information.
• Foresee opportunities for process/system automation and cost saving.
• Measure the efficiency of team workload and design team KPIs and promote ttb culture environment.
• Review and give advice to BU for proper tax process.
• Lead project, plan UAT and define test scenario for related system/application enhancement.

• Strong tax knowledge and interpretation skills to comply and adopt with businesses.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify solutions and tax practices for tax issues and new products or services
• Strong explanation and verbal communication skills to convey tax knowledge and regulations.
• Negotiation skills to discuss delicate tax matters with tax officers
• Eagerness to learn up-to-date tax knowledge and new regulations
• Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills combined with ability to condense detailed subject matters into clear and effective communications
