Head of Data, Development & AI

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Platform Leadership:

• Define a comprehensive vision and roadmap for Data, Development & AI initiatives.

• Provide strategic direction for platform architecture and management across the organization, aligning with business objectives.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the integration of Data, Development & AI initiatives into broader organizational strategies.

2. Cloud & Platform Expertise:

• Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.

• Lead platform architecture efforts, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud technologies to support organizational goals.

3. API & Integration Management:

• Drive ecosystem development through effective API management and integrations.

• Foster partnerships and collaborations to expand the organization's API ecosystem.

• Ensure seamless integration of internal and external systems to optimize operational efficiency.

4. Platform Security & Performance:

• Establish and enforce robust security measures to safeguard data and assets.

• Monitor and optimize platform performance to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Implement best practices for platform resilience and disaster recovery.

5. Vendor Management & Partnerships:

• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with technology vendors and partners.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and services.

• Collaborate with vendors to stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

6. Application Development & Management:

• Lead the application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring security, scalability, and agility.

• Stay updated on emerging development methodologies and technologies, integrating them into our practices where applicable.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team.

Education/Training Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a focus on Data, Development & AI initiatives.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and platforms, with relevant certifications preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in API management, integration architecture, and platform security.

• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in application development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
