Financial Planning and Analysis Manager / Senior Manager

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Continuously monitor actual financial results against budgets and forecasts. Analyze the variances, investigate reasons for deviations, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to make necessary adjustments to forecasts, highlighting potential risks and opportunities. Provide insights to management and stakeholders.
• Be a finance business partner to business teams. Work closely and collaborate with other functions to support the business activities/initiatives.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and accurate financial projections.
• Contribute to the month-end closing process by doing desktop review in order to identify the oddity and help improve the quality of financial data.
• Build financial models to evaluate different scenarios and assess potential impacts on the financial performance.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and presentations.
• Any ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

• Degree in accounting, finance or related fields. Proven track record in FP&A role for at least 7 years. Exposure in a fast paced business environment would be an advantage. Big4 or consultancy experience is a plus.
• Solid financial knowledge and business acumen. Able to connect the dots. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge on Oracle, EPM, SQL, or Power BI is a plus.
• Individual contributor as well as a good team player. Proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Positive and can-do attitude.
