1. Optimizing Demand Planning and Forecasting Operations
Continuously improve demand planning operations to optimize costs, inventory, and enhance customer service, meeting business needs and company development strategies.
Develop an optimal demand forecasting process for both existing SKUs and NPD, based on collaboration among relevant departments: Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, etc.
Monitor, update & prepare data for Weekly, Demand Review, Pre S&OP, S&OP meetings, etc.
Coordinate with the Supply Planning Team to balance and optimize inventory while maintaining the required service level.
Develop internal transfer plans, distribution plans to customers and the Distribution System (DC - Distribution Center).
2. Data Analysis and Demand Forecasting
Use analytical tools and historical sales data to forecast future demand.
Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and economic factors to adjust the demand plan.
Evaluate actual business performance against forecasts for timely adjustments.
Advise on demand allocation based on analysis data during activities or shortage periods.
3. Master Data and SKU Portfolio Management
Design the structural framework and attribute principles for master data. Advise on and modify master data structure based on strategic direction (if any).
Review and streamline the SKU portfolio by phasing out low-performing or inefficient items.
4. S&OP Process Management and Cross-Functional Alignment
Monitor, update, and prepare data for the following meetings: Weekly, Demand Review, S&OP.
Coordinate with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Production, and Logistics to ensure alignment in the planning process.
Develop DRP plans to ensure optimal inventory levels across warehouses.
5. Consolidated Reporting
Prepare reports for Demand Review, S&OP, and Master Data, update sales performance, and manage departmental KPIs.
6. Other tasks as assigned by the line manage
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Import-Export, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the FMCG food industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong change management abilities, multitasking skills, and resilience under pressure.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
In-depth understanding of supply chain value drivers within large-scale companies.
Strong knowledge of product portfolios, production technologies, and plant capacities.
Well-versed in sales systems, sales forecasting, and industry trend analysis.
Comprehensive understanding of raw materials, sourcing capabilities, and the ability to provide data-driven and well-founded supply recommendations.
