App. Technician Assistant

Position Details

Key Responsibilities


Sampling and tests


  • Prepares application samples as per business priorities and due delivery dates applying global good laboratory practices, standard operating procedures, supported with the digital tools and software available. (Including market research tests preparation).
  • Assists Senior technicians when needed.


Stock management


  • Keeps the personal workbench clean and organized as per the best practices.
  • Keeps the personal physical collection of application bases up to date and fresh and aligned with the collection in digital systems.


Evaluation & Fabric Preparation


  • Provide evaluations support for all categories, including preparation & decontamination.
  • Prepares and delivers washing fabric for clients & market research tests.
  • Decontaminate towels & washing machine.
  • Buy towels & fabric.


Shipment


  • Ensure shipments in and out including packing/unpacking of oils, bases, applied samples, washing fabric & market research test samples.


QHSS&E


  • Ensures compliance with all QHS&E procedures and proactively contributes to the improvement of lab safety.
  • Maintains a clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace.
  • Ensures all samples produced meet the quality standards as per the global SOPs before releasing the samples.
  • Reports any non-conformance to the laboratory supervisor or manager.
  • Dispose waste oils, samples, unperfumed base, and documents.


Continuous improvement and efficiency


  • Adopts a culture of continuous improvement and actively participates in LEAN projects.
  • Operates with a team spirit mindset and supports the colleagues under high workload situations.


Qualifications


  • Basic understanding of English
  • No previous industrial experience required.
  • Proficiency in preparing application samples following global good laboratory practices, standard operating procedures, and utilizing digital tools and software. This includes market research test preparation.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized personal workbench, as well as manage stock levels of necessary materials such as towels, fabric, oils, and bases.
  • Competence in providing evaluation support for various categories, preparing washing fabric for clients and market research tests, as well as decontaminating towels and washing machines.
  • Capability to ensure shipments in and out of the laboratory, including packing and unpacking of samples, washing fabric, and market research test samples.
  • Adherence to all quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory/workplace, and reporting any non-conformances or safety issues.
