Sales responsibilities for Evonik Personal Care product portfolios to assigned direct customers in Thailand
Market development to enhance competitiveness for selected high-volume specialties to regain and expand the business in Thailand
Manage relationship with customer’s i.e. purchasing, technical, manufacturing and marketing departments to understand organization and decision makers, supporters , and influencers
Develop strategies and tactics for direct accounts to grow Evonik personal care product portfolios. Manage target setting and achievement
Grow revenue and profitability by utilizing relationship with customers to identify opportunities and competitiveness
Negotiates pricing and supply/confidentiality agreements to support business growth
Provide routine and mid-term forecasting and budgeting
Manage existing business information which are report of calls/visits, project development pipeline via internal tools and prepare summary of business performance by monthly/quarterly basis
Continually build knowledge on products performance and value proposition to provide more innovative and effective solutions to customers
Work with internal stakeholders and customers to execute new projects and promote new product launches and ensure supply reliability after commercialization
Conduct and analyze market intelligence and competition to identify new business opportunities/trends for future growth. Communicates strategic information to Regional and Global Team through reporting and joint meetings.
Manages other miscellaneous customer/market issues including complaints, regulatory, requests, audits, monitoring of customer financial status to ensure A/R etc.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above, with major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetics Sciences, or related fields
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Specialty Chemical/Personal Care industry, with functional responsibility for sales and marketing, business development or related functions
Preferably direct working experience with local OEMs and multi-national consumer product companies in personal care industry
Proficient in English
Self-motivated, communicative and proactive
Preferably knowledge on personal care formulations, and familiarity with chemical properties and functions of key personal care ingredients such as conditioners, surfactants, emollients, emulsifiers, thickeners, antimicrobials and actives
